1 1/2 cup shredded cheese (I used cheddar and jack, Mexican blend works perfect for this)
1 lb ground beef (going to season with the following spices: salt, pepper, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne and chili powder)
olive oil
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Use cooking spray and lightly spray a large sheet pan
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and add the ground beef. As you are breaking it up with a spoon to make crumbles, season with salt, pepper, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne and chili powder. That’s your own taco seasoning! Cook until the beef is browned.
After the beef is done, layer the tortilla chips on the sheet pan. Try to get it to a single layer, but it’s ok if some chips are on top of each other! Spoon the cooked ground beef over the chips evenly
Next, top the beef with the can of black beans, and the shredded cheese
Bake in the oven for about 5-6 mins
Once done, take the sheet pan out of the oven and top the nachos with the jalapeno, red onion, dollops of sour cream and fresh cilantro. Enjoy!
